FPSO and marine integrity specialist, Marine Technical Limits, has strengthened its engineering and CAD design teams to support rising demand for its services.
A successful recruitment campaign has brought two naval architects and a CAD designer on board to bolster the team, based in Kintore, Aberdeenshire, at the end of an exceptionally busy and successful year.
Marcelo Cadena came on board as a Principal Naval Architect on 30th October. Marcelo joins from a Brazilian Oil and Gas Operator, having also worked previously as a DNV Class Surveyor. His depth of expertise will complement the skills of MTL’s experienced Naval Architecture team.
Cintia del Pilar Gonzalez Gonzalez, joined the same team as a Naval Architect on 13th November. She was previously working in Navantia, Ferrol and also gained experience from the shipyards in Las Palmas.
Iain Smith started at the end of November as Principal CAD Designer, bringing a wealth of FPSO ship structures experience, while adding greatly to the capacity of the design team to support our ongoing engineering and projects workscopes.
The addition of these talented individuals enhances MTL’s global expansion, particularly in integrity management services where demand is high. Recent successful projects highlight our innovative approach to FPSO integrity management and repairs, often in challenging environments. Through our meticulous planning, we achieve safe, compliant and practical solutions for our clients.
