Marine Technical Limits is celebrating 20 years in business. Since its inception in 2003 MTL has worked with significant clients in the global oil and gas industry.
We have carried out industry changing research, developed processes and procedures which have fundamentally changed the way we carryout risk-based integrity management, and our developers have created a fully digital, end-to-end FPSO integrity system for managing assets.
In the early days, owners Matt Lewin and Calum MacLean started their journey working from home and communicating by Skype over a dial-up connection. Since then, the company has grown to more than 40 employees and has expanded to a substantial office complex with warehouse and yard space, which hosts an annual Ceilidh to celebrate the year’s successes, as-well-as manufacturing equipment and managing offshore logistics.
Not only is MTL considered the place to develop a noteworthy career in naval architecture and project engineering, but it is also considered an industry leading, trustworthy, organisation by its many loyal global clients.
