Q1 is off to a very busy and varied start here at MTL, and the rest of 2023 is forecast to be equally busy. We are currently supporting six offshore scopes across four assets in the UKCS and Canada. The workshop has been a hive of activity ensuring that our Safe System of Work (SSOW) equipment spreads are ready to mobilise to support these scopes.
On-station Repair
In the UKCS our projects teams have recently completed our first on-station tank repairs of the year, and equipment is mobilising today for the next significant repair scope. On another asset, a site survey is currently underway. This will enable us to gather the information required to plan the repair strategy and deliver these repairs safely and efficiently.
Inspection Leadership
Our engineering teams are similarly busy, currently leading structural inspections and stability weight audits on assets both in the UKCS and Canada. The teams are leading the inspections ensuring they are executed safely and efficiently, while capturing the necessary information to support our client’s operations. We use PYXIS, our integrity management software, to develop and support all our inspection scopes.
