Specialists FPSO integrity and repair management company Marine Technical Limits (MTL) has been awarded an FPSO repair services contract by a North Sea Oil Major.
The company which boasts significant experience in delivering FPSO solutions to the oil and gas industry was awarded the contract earlier this month. The project will take place over the course of three years and will include FPSO repairs work on three floating assets in the UK.
MTL will see its team of specialists including; five construction supervisors, six project engineers, five naval architects and three equipment technicians, deliver the extensive contract, which is estimated to be valued at between £750,000 and £1million annually.
Initially the team will carry out upper deck maintenance and repair work before delivering further specific maintenance renewal scopes.
